hey guys, i have a set of style 44 e46 rims, and i was running them on 215/45/17, but 215's were way to thin looking, so i was thinking of going 225/45/17, but i've been reading around and heard some people running 235/40/17, what size of tires should i get? thanx guys

That's an 8 inch wide rim right?
235's should fit nicely.

The stock tire size for the Type 44 is 225/45/17 but it can accomodate 235/40/17. I have a set of 44s that I use for winter and I'm using 225/45/17 and they're just the right width, IMO.
