Come on - You can't possibly think that anyone it going to take you seriously without any more details other that "I can get you more HP for you car".

Provide some info and you might get intelligent responses.

You really don't have a leg to stand on when your message lacks key and vital pieces of information - so as to why you feel you have a right to be defensive and/or sarcastic is beyond me...

Give us something real to go on!

How much more power do you expect to get from a new intake on an S54 motor?

I'm very interested to know. And what is the projected cost?

i'd say 15up...thats why we dyno the next day......less than 15 and we wont make/market.

come on.... anyone?

for helping us out....u either get the the 15+ hp....if thats not the case, u can get some halos installed or a lip spoiler installed + discounts in future. otherwise i'll just rent one damm it.

Well I'll tell you a little secret. If BMW can't squeeze out 15 hp from a different intake (with all the money and equipment they have ) I don't think you will be able to do it. That motor is very advanced and they've used every trick possible. Even tuned software can only get you an extra 12 hp or so.

The S54 intake is already very efficient, are you talking about crank HP or RW HP.

In order to make any kind of noticable difference it has to be alongside with software (especially if you modify the MAF).

Good luck though, theres a lot of high quality products out there already and a lot of them have been simply deemed to look good but add proven 0 performance gain.

Personally I went with a Roar filter/MAF element (349 USD) (http://www.roarfilter.com). They are inexpensive (relatively speaking to other M3 filter elements) and claim 20 hp gain which I seriously doubt but the product is very well engineered - they are pretty popular in the BMW racing comunity.

Roar filter in my car:

I had an 04 m3.

Dyno #1 284 rwhp
Dyno #2 with Dinan intake 288 rwhp

The s54 is a bitch. BMW has already squeezed 111 hp/L out of it, the filter is not gonna change that much.

you can put everything on the s54 you want and will never increase it by more the 40 ponies at the flywheel.

as with other high end cars the best way to make it faster is for the driver to go on a diet, and to take racing lessons.

Good luck with the intake though. there are plenty of weiners driving m3s out there that add shit just for looks.

mine was bone stock, the Dinan intake was money wasted.
