they are on sale right now at Canadian tire.. i think $120.

Seriously though.. if your buying it to wash your car you don't want any more then 1500 psi cause the more industrial models can blast the paint off your car.

If you want high power go to princess auto.. they have 240 volt electric 3000 psi models. I just bought a gas powered 2700 psi model from there, it works pretty good but it cost me $500 :D

That one on sale is a POS. I was at crappy tire today laughing at the people at the returns desk. There must have been at least 3 or 4 of them in line with those pressure washers.

I've used 2 different karcher models, and motor life were short. After replacing the motor on the last one TWICE I gave up.

I have a Simoniz 1800. Does around 2400psi+ from what I remember. Had it for a while and no complaints. Much quieter than most of the other models. Wasn't too expensive... Around $275-$300 I think. I used it today to blast the dirt off my E30 (http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52002).

For the price, well worth it. I use it for blasting the underbody of my cars, driveway/walkways, deck in the backyard as well as the windows on the house etc...
