Well, some of you might remember, I was having some problems with my xenon on the driver's side. I finally figured out it was the bulb, and not the ballast, so I went ahead and ordered a set of 6000K Xenoflo bulbs from Bimmian. First off, I've heard a few horror stories about Bimmian, and was a bit worried, but wow am I impressed with their customer service. Top-notch *th-up* . I had a great experience with them and would order again from them w/o a doubt. Now, about the bulbs. I'm so glad I chose the 6000K instead of the 8000K. The color is perfect imo. Concerning light output when compared to the stock 4300K, technically, I know the stock is rated better for light output, but from my own eyes, I noticed no difference in light output, I still see as well as I did with the stock ones, didn't decrease visibility at all for me. Here are a few shots I took of them for those interested. First 3 are at low exposure, while the last pic isn't. Last pic is also after they warmed up a bit. All and all, extremely pleased with both Bimmian and the product *th-up*

Thanks man. You know whats great though about these xenons? The fact that I can actually drive me car at night again haha. I refused to drive it at night pimping out only 1 headlight.

On a side note. Things yesterday didn't go 100% with my car. Some ****ers yesterday I guess decided it would be cool to steal my BMW emblem off my hood. Had to go buy a new one at the dealerships, and now need to order more CF overlays

6000K are white with a small tint of blue. The blue tint is a truer color tone though as opposed to the "teal" looking tint you get with 8000K.

Thanks fellas :)

here's a couple more old pics I have showing the lights on during the day (click to enlarge)...

Looks great! I've got 6500k bulbs on my ride and they look the same colour as those. 8000k is just too blue, and looks like ricer bulbs imho :D

Just bought 2 6000K from their store in Oshawa. Customer service is good; however, I have to wait for my car to come back from the body shop after that I can installed the light bulbs.

Why would I get HID fogs if i no longer have fogs?

Those pics on the previous page are pretty old, the car since has gone through a few changes. The above pic is how it stands now, so fogs are a no go.

Thanks everyone :)

When you took the pics, did you have a filter on the camera to produce that starburst effect on the headlights?

Looks great!

I'm an experienced HID kit and bulb buyer and to me those look like a higher Kelvin than 6000K.

Check Bimmian's website. perfect example what a 6000k bulb should look like.... White, with a tinge of purple/violet depending on the manufacturer.

Although, it could just be your camera. and no bulbset is alike from the next from my experience buying from the same company over and over again.

are you using the factory ballasts and ignitors and wiring?

No special camera was used, just a simple point and shoot digi, no filters, etc.. and no post-processing was done, just resized and cropped. I can assure you, and so can anyone else who has seen my car in person, my xenons are far from purple, they are the color you see in the daytime pics. Everything is stock excluding the bulb. And as you can see, from the pic on Bimmian's site, they are a near perfect match as to my pics. From the pic itself when compared to the 8000K, you can see they both have a tint of blue, except the 8000K is more of a teal blue where the 6000K is a more true blue. I can understand why some of you may think it's suppose to be purple, b/c I have seen pics where they look pretty damn purple, that's why I was so skeptical in buying them, but mine are far from it. Maybe I got lucky and got a good set, dunno, but what i do know is my bulbs are 6000K, and they are anyhting but purple.

What is the best wedge bulbs (W5W) to match with the Bimmian 6000K HID bulbs?
