I have a Panasonic PV-GS120 for sale. It is a miniDV camera that also uses an SD card slot for capturing stills pics at 1.3 MP. This is the best camcorder that you can get in the consumer market today. It features many "pro"sumer features in a very tiny little package.
There is a single dead pixel on the LCD screen, but this doesn't effect the recorded image at all, and you can't even see the dead pixel unless the screen is all blue (when you put set it to playback mode and are fastforwarding or rewinding a tape). It is very tiny and doesn't make a difference at all.

It uses 3CCD technology which is a feature that until recently was strictly reserved to much higher end cameras. The result is much, much better picture quality and colour rendering. There is seperate chip for each colour in the light spectrum (RGB - red, green & blue). All other consumer cameras use a single chip to decifer the three colours, which results in a very poor image by comparison.

Last I checked this camera retailed for $999.99 + tax at Future Shop and I think there was a sale recently where they dropped the price to $899.99 + tax.
I am setting my price to $600 CAD, Firm. If you are in the market for a camcorder I encourage you to do some research and find out for yourself what a good deal this is. You won't be dissapointed with this camera.

The package includes the charger, battery, remote control and neck strap.

That's a good price. I work at future shop and i just sold my demo at $819.99 plus tax and it had 2 dead pixels.

You can either hook it up using firewire, or if you have S video input you can use the S video input and hook it up

YEa if you have a firewire connection then that's how it would hook up. If you don't you can pick a nice package that future shop sells for 150 CAD. It includes the fire wire cabel that you need and the port to install in your computer. As well you get a pinnacle editing software. Everythin is included in this package.
1 fire wire cable
1 fire wire card for the computer
and software.

a. How old is it?

b. Do you have a receipt for warranty claims?

1)It is basically brand new. I got it from an electronics wholesaler that auctions off electronic merchandise that have been returned and/or used as floor models. This one was a return because of the single dead pixel.
2)There are no receipts that can be used for a warranty because of the nature of the product. If it makes you feel better, I can sign something giving my personal warranty for a month after the transaction just so you know you aren't getting a "lemon".

So many people vouching for the quality of the camera but still no serious inquiries? Come on folks, listen to the praise this camera gets. The hype must be true.

Honestly - I'm in the market for a Camcorder, and the one you have is a VERY good model. The only issues turning me off are the dead pixel and the lack of a receipt.

I am telling you the dead pixel is nothing. You probably wouldn't even notice it if i didn't mention it. It is a tiny, tiny little speck on the LCD screen and you can only see it when you are in playback mode and you fast forward or rewind a tape. Like I said before, it doesn't translate to the recorded image. I don't know what else to say to make you believe that it's nothing.
And about the receipts, i already mentioned that I am willing to give a month grace period. I will give you a full refund if you're not fully satisfied. The factory warranties are a bunch of crap anyway. They are always a one year warranty and hardly nothing goes wrong in the first year.

Hey there...

I know the pixel is nothing more than a cosmetic issue, but it would be annoying to look at. I am very picky.

As far as the receipt goes, a month grace is great, but that will not give me the comfort level I'm looking for. I have never had any issues with warranty claims from ANYWHERE except for DELL. That camera comes with a 2-year warranty. You can not get an extended warranty without an original bill of sale.

It's a great camera, and you're selling at a great price for those who do not care about documentation, warranty, or cosmetic defects.

Oh, there is a way to convince me, but I don't think you would be interested in dropping the price that much. *angel*

If you run out of options, get back to me.

Good luck, and BUMP for a great camcorder! *th-up*

I like that, have a Cannon ZR45 DV but the auto fucus sucks at moving objects especially yellow and blue for some reason. This looks better.
