I was just wondering how much you guys would pay for my car, or how much it's worth. Some of the major upgrades are as follows:

Vortech V1 supercharger
18" BBS LM
Blitztine (sp) PSS9 Suspention
Custome Front and rear fender flares
Customer gage pod
full Eclips sound system, inc Indash DVD
HID conversion kit
and alot more

90,000 KM 1997 M3, mint interior and exterior. Feel free to give your opinion.
Thanx

You better not!... just because you're engaged doesn't mean you have to give up your toys. Check your PM regarding F1 weekend.

I think it is better off for you to go back to stock and then sell your parts and your car separately. Usually people tend to not want cars with mods and etc because the cars are usually beated up. And it really depends on the buyer.

like someone else said... you're better off putting it back to stock and selling the mods on the side...lots of people are scared of buying a modded car...

if you were going to buy a car thats has a S/C on it, would you think the owner drove it nicely...

awesome car...hope you can keep it

Thanks for the concern but I was wondering how much people are willing to pay for a car like this. It has nothing to do with my fiance, she loves the car and the attention that comes with it. Would you guys pay $35,000 for it? It's only for future referance.

One guy told me $20,000 Man was I laughing.

dealer would give you 20,000/22,000 if you really squeeze him, privatly looking at about 30/32 on the heavy, 35 you would really have to find a buyer.....see problem is that its tricked out, blower(supercharger??), lowered. Anyone who sees that is gonna think that you drive it hard, no matter if u do or don't thats the image its gonna percieve. I know thats the problem i had when i was selling my car, everyone thought i beat the fuk out of it.

I agree with everything, maybe low 30's if you really want to get rid of it, and even then there is no gurantee, because cars like yours are hard to sell even though so much great quality parts were put into it, it's a shame.... But do what you gotta do.

Mid 30's is possible, in the end it is a clean(it looks clean in pictures) M3 with low milage and goodies. There are M3's for sale for which are in shit condition and they are asking for 25... I was lookin at a 26 which had 120k km's and was on the showroom at the local BMW dealer, so asking mid 30's is reasonable sounds reasonable to me

I would pay no more then 30. since your car is resprayed and heavly moded makes it much harder to sell

25ish....

thinair
03-23-2005, 10:13 PM
$30ish, $35 would be pushing it unless you find a buyer looking for exactly what you have.

Regardless, you sell it and you'll be in a world of pain.... *uzi*

29 tops IMO. Your NEVER going to get back all that cash put into it. However, you'll be better off to part it out even though it's a pain.

I'd say high 20k, but really I want to know how much power your car is making, not from the butt figures, but from the dyno sheet.

Low to mid 30's is what I was hoping. I would never think I could get every dollar I put in. If that was the case I would ask for an extra $20G's (thats what was put in so far). I honstestly expected alittle more flames about it being beatin to shit. So thanx for the positive response guys. *th-up*

I was hoping to start another project car, A 2002 M3 cabrio(laguna seca blue of course) but I guess it won't happen yet. :(

HOLY SHIZNAT....is that LSB on LSB ? *mw*....tough decision mang...personally i'd part out the m3...then sell it stock for the low 30s...THEN move on to that lsb e46 cab *mw*

don't forget the hardtop *angel* :)

Sickbimmer
03-24-2005, 10:59 AM
I would go for the hard top for sure. But thats only IF I sold my current car.

sloveniaboy
03-24-2005, 11:02 AM
you could always part out the mods and sell the vehicle stock...

Sickbimmer
03-24-2005, 11:10 AM
I think that would ruin the car, plus who has all the OEM parts. Alot of stuff like the custom dash cannot be changed without spending a pretty penny doing so.

sloveniaboy
03-24-2005, 11:13 AM
damn, yea, in that case parting out isn't an option

good luck and either way you go you'll still have a nice whip...

Most people that ask a bit higher for their M3 usually have tough competition because you are going in rage where they can pick up some nice 330ci..(I dont wanna cause spark what car is better but the fact is many poeple go for newer car and nice clean E46).....There was a member selling 2002 M pack 330ci with 80k km asking mid 30 000$ ....I would pick up that car over any E36 M3......

sorry but 5 years difference is hard to swallow and that why it may be hard to even get 30 grand for your car....Again this is just my honest opinion on the case as it is.

Not to mention that soon we will have E90 so owning E36 is kinda old even if it's an M3 WITH only 240hp.

SickFinga
03-24-2005, 11:27 PM
Ivan, there is a big difference between stock M3 and Fabio's RMS Stage I (soon to be Stage II) M3. Deciding between 400hp e36 m3 sitting on BBS LM and a stock 330ci would be a very very and I wanna say it again very easy decision.

Ivan, I asked for everyones honest opinion so no offence taken.

Vald, thanks for the great comments, your car is going to be pretty tight to.

Mr? seville, uhh............................sold!

And finally Miguel, banana?, suck?, peel? OK?

$30K to $35k is not to much to ask for, knowing how much it costs to build a car like that. If you can't get that much don't sell it.

P.S. Shop labour rate is about $80.00 or more...
