Okay, i'm not saying it looks bad, it looks quite good.. but.. is it just me or does something look out of place? It sort of reminds me of those cars that have coversions done. Like the body pieces aren't flowing properly.

well, looks decent.

That thing about things not looking riight, thats the whole thing with this new bmw design. The placement and shape of the elements isnt logical and ntural, thats why u're seeing that. I see that with pretty much all the new models.
Leaves you thinking "wtf, y is that there, or that shape" instead of "ooh yeaa," cause u figure thats how it should be. And it can look fresh and new with still being logical.

Alpina will always be the premiere styling tuner for BMWs.

That's just a little subjective. I'd say it's even with all the big tuners like Hartge, ACS, RD, Dinan, Hamann & Korman.

They all have solid portfolios.

It could be the reflection of everything around the car hides the flow of the body lines...i.e. the white road paint reflecting off the passenger side.

Besides that, i think it looks awesome...subtle but emphatic.

It's almost like they are bringin back the E30 alpina cues, with the rims and the Lip on the front that looks alot like the old plow alpinas. Dunno if i like it yet.

funny that they really haven't changed their styling in over 15 years...i've never been too crazy about their ground effects kits, but the rims look good when seated properly and they really know how to get awesome power out of an engine. They make nice interior pacj]kages as well...more classy than sport.

Alpina is a manufacture known to be modest and loyal to its heritage.

that's why their special Alpina Blue, Alpina Green colours, body-kits, multispoke rims, and decals are all the same ever since the birth of the company.

some might say it's boring and unimaginative. but i think it's rather classy and characterful. :)

well they've got a good thing going, so why stop, right! I was just surprised that they only ever use 2 designs of rims...and i hate the tape strip they run across their valances/skirts etc...
