As the title says, i have a pair of DJAUTO E36 Ellipsoids for sale with 6000k hids already installed. Basically this is a plug and play kit.
HIDs are custom built and include 6000k D2S H1 bulbs with OEM philips ballasts.

Reason for selling? I'm buying BOSCH/ZKWs w/ a plug and play HID kit since I can afford it now.

PRICE = BEST OFFER

Please call as I wont be answering PMs for the next little while...

p.s. no pics! I dont have a camera right now where I am, so I can't offer any. Please call me to come by and see them in person if you want to know what they look like, but I figure everyone knows what ellipsoids look like anyway so...

Just so everyone has a baseline price to start off with, brand new these items would have cost:

Ellipsoids (w/o angel eyes) $249
H1 D2S 6000k Bulbs $150
Philips HID ballasts $150
----
Total $549 CDN

Of course, I dont expect to get all of that back obviously, but that's roughly what it cost me (minus shipping and taxes). I should also add that these lights have only been mounted on a car twice, and driven only 1km before being removed. The driver's side one has one retaining clip which broke off by accident when I was taking them apart for cleaning (doesn't affect the light, mounting, or moisture seal in any way).
As well, I can't sell these as seperate items as the HIDs are mated to the headlights in a way that would render them useless for a non-hid application. These will also fit ANY e36 of any year.

thanks

Is it a perfect fitment?

I've been calling and no answer. But my question is, why did you go through the work getting these ready and only use them for one KM, mounting them twice, and are now selling them. Also, with the way the bulbs are hooked up, what is involved in changing a bulb if it blows?

I am defenatly interested in them...

Sorry about missing the phone calls, had to resume work, so I couldn't pickup the line. I should be allowed to go home tonight (finally, i've been here for over a week now!), so feel free to try me on my home line as well, 416-266-1160 after 7pm today.

The reason why the lights were never used was because I bought them and built them even before I purchased my current project car. As well, the first year or two was spent working on getting the supercharger kit going, so I never had time to install the lights (nor would they fit correctly until recently because I had piping in the way). The only time they were mounted was before I had the supercharger installed, and that was just to test that everything worked correctly. This kit should pose no problems for anyone as long as you possess the knowledge to use a rachet :)
Bulb replacement WILL involve cutting the positive and negative wires from the bulb where it attaches to the ballast wiring, and then re-soldering the new bulb's two wires back on, taping (or heat wrapping), then you're done. I could have installed clips to make it easier, but I never got around to it.
I doubt you will ever need to replace the bulbs for the lifetime you own the car though since HID bulbs last years.

OMG! Finally home! I just spent the last week and a half assisting in migrating half our datacentre from the UK to Denver.....CRAZINESS! So glad to be home now....here's some pics of the lights, thanks for your patience. I'll answer some of your pm's now as well.

(please excuse the dust....they've been sitting a LONG while [in a safe place of course])
