wow, that's a sweet ride!

how'd you get everything to fit (front and back bumper / spoilers) since you have a <87 car?

The front bumper fit perfectly. An E36 M3 fibreglass design by Fil from Eurostyle. The rear was installed by Tip Top in Scarborough, they are pretty good there but couldn't get the kit to fit perfectly.

Looks like you got the wrong rear-end. Rieger does make 2 differet rears for the year difference between the larger fender gaps. Is that possiably what happened here? Every other Authentic Rieger kit that I have seen fits perfectly.

Rob, whats your suggestion for a middle of the road lowering job?

1. how low on the front?
2. how low on the back?
3. what type of springs?

Keep in mind I'm on a budget :(

-I paid $1200\
-The are Alpha - Prestige Series (Japanese)
-THey are 25 offset so they were supposed to fit.
-I had to put on very small spacers in order to stop the calipers from hitting the rims
-They are four bolt

Maty..... the car's looking very nice but I'd like to know where you got that rear bumper. After a close look, it certainly doesn't look like any Rieger I know..... kinda like a mix between an AV3 and a Reiger. Compare my original Rieger rear with yours...

Hey Randy. that bumper is an original Rieger, but NOT the GTS. I had that bumper at the shop and I know it was the real part from Germany! If you remember Ben (the gold E30) at Bimmer cruize had the same...

Ahhh... I see. Sorry about that. Either way, the car is coming along really nice. Have you considered a set of coilover springs (from OBX)? good price and I have no problem with them. Check www.123parts.com for a good price.

Thanks for the comments Randy, especially coming from you. Unfortunetly I don't have a lot of money right now so I can't afford coil overs.

Reparis come first as you know :) Next I have to do my wheel bearing, and a metal rattling noise which I believe is coming from the Harmonic balancer after Daytona did the short shifter upgrade.

Following that, I'll do a full paint job, 4.10LS Diff, lower, etc ..

The things we do for our cars make our women jealous? Who agrees with me on this one? :D

It looks like that bumper is the E46 M3 Style bumper....
