View Full Version : Where do you shop?

Just wanted to find out where you guys and gals get parts for your "classics". When I was rebuilding my e21 most of the stuff I got came from BMW specialists in the States.(bav auto, maxmillion, top end) I got a few things from the dealer (ouch), and local guys like Napa. The rest was ebay and the local wrecker. The stuff I got from the States was still cheaper than the dealer even after shipping, duty and the exchange rate were added in.(this was when the can. dollar was not so favorable) I guess what I'm trying to get at is there must be somebody in Canada that can get classic Bmw parts without leaving your wallet with them! And if there is, they don't advertise well because I can't find them! Anybody got any thoughts on this.

I have an e21 aswell and have not come across any performance parts distributors in Canada either. I think that there was a guy in Canada producing turbo manifolds but I think the site is down so I don't know if that exists anymore. The only sites I know about are the ones you posted and a couple more but only in the states or Germany. Would be nice to have some parts coming from Canada to save some $$$. Sorry I couldn't be more help but if you get some time I would love to see some pics of your car.
