Thanks man, does the vert hardtop look very similar to the coupe?

I love the coupe, and i love the vert when its down, but the only thing holding me back is how the vert looks up, so crappy in my opinion.

nah, black on black is boring!....classic but still boring...heheh(no offense)...how about black on imola red? or black on cinnamon?....or caramel?

as for exterior...are u getting the ZHP package?....if not.....black, alpine white, topaz blue(dunno if thats the blue they currently have or if theres another)....

in the end, pix don't do these cars justice...go talk to the salesperson over at bmw and ask to see a few different interior colour combos *th-up*

I say go for a coupe. I prefer the look of the coupe more, it seems a lot more aggressive in my opinion and seems more complete. I'm also sort of biased because I own one *shiner* :huh?:

lucky ur getting the coupe, im stuck with a 4 door, but if u get the zhp, i'd say coupe, im not a fan of bmw 3 series convertables if u get the zhp get black on black (jet black though) and if not the zhp get alp white on black

i own a cab, but don't drive it in the winter.

Choosing is a very subjective matter. If not picking the cab, you should really consider the m3 - it's only a bit more than the 330cab, and there are lots of deals on used ones now.

The lines are not the same as coupe even with the hard top.

Depends on your personal preference, you have to provide more information about what you value. If the "look" doesn't do it for you with the roof up, then what else is there to consider? Majority of the time, roof will be up....rain, snow, parking.

I love convertibles. But you have to keep in mind, convertibles are heavier by about 150 kg, structure is not as rigid, can't go through automatic car washes without leaking. There are vices you have to live with and these are the things you should be considering, not just the "look".

When you add sport package & premium package to the cab, you are close to M3 coupe territory. The base cab versus the base M3 is about $10k difference.

If you decide to get a convertible the hardtop is a must. I have one and I go to no-touch car wash at least once a week in the winter time. With just the rag top you can't wash it too often. In theory every five washes you're suppose to re-apply the impregnating agent for waterproofing.

Like Regin8r said, you have to decide what you want. Performance vs Look with the top down vs Look with the top up.

But you know what, IMO nothing beats the look of a convertible with the top down. I have never looked back since I've got mine.

Verts are also chick magnets. Last summer 3 girls on 401 tried to chat me up... :D
