I don't think their is anything ricey about a 600hp chrome M3. But even if you don't like the outcome, it's pretty hard not to respect the work that went into it.

600HP??? hahah thats a joke! hes barely at 400. he himself admited its not that good. he went with a RMS charger. and that charger will never ever reach 600hp. all the hype was for nothing.

HP aside, there was many hard man-hours spent on that car to make it unique (in a relatively short time too -- I should know about projects!). I'm not feeling the paint (or widebody), especially after comparing it to many other flawless chrome cars @SEMA, but to each his own.

Rich, as far as I know, the car is still at RMS in L.A. getting the last things finished off. My favorite part of the car is everything inside. The interior/ICE etc is beautiful.

it was painted at European Autobody. The paint cost a fortune (per/liter) and was applied with many different chemical stages. Not the usual "chrome" technique. This process is not really legal anywhere because of the chemical composition of the paint (sulfur content)... you need connections. Same with BMW's original ChromeShadow from the E46 CSL.
