Looks like a decently clean example. Good for your Canada guys, too bad importing it to the US would cost at least double what it ends for.

I dont think you are right on that one Jordan....In Toronto VLS AUto imported couple of them and some other eurospec E30s.They would not have import it unless it could make some profit.

Um.. last I checked it costs between $7500 and 11,000 USD to have the DOT/EPA federalization process carried out on a european import from Canada to the US.

Importing a european car to Canada is easy.. getting it into the US is a whole different can of worms.

^^^why is that though?

It's a nice car, WillZ also has one in silver.
Did you see the Competition M1 also on ebay?

They only thing wrong with that auction i can see is they keep calling it an M30.

^^^why is that though?

Because DOT and the EPA have strict safety and enviromental criteria that must be met on all imported passenger cars. It costs alot of money for the federalization parts and the labor to install them. That along with the emmissions testing etc. It all adds up very quickly.

Well too bad to hear that ,I was speakin' about Canada. M30 is reffering to his dad's wagon M30 wanted.

How is that M30 powered? Looks like an M20 to me.

Some one is making a killing on this car. That's an 88 to as it has ellipsoids due to there was no touring made in 87 unless you play the 9/87 rule and it would have been sold as an 88 model year.
