View Full Version : Dual exhaust... what do you think?

I'm thinking of trying to put dual exhaust on my car. Would there be any draw-backs to doing this (would I loose back-pressure?)? Attached is a rough example of what it would look like.

I personaly like dual exhaust but not too separated. I like the rear tips close together. Like the new M3's. I would go for it!*th-up*

That would be impossible on mine due to the fact that the spare tire storage is dab right in the middle, right behind the bumper.... no room to do squat there.

You got a point there, but don't get me wrong it will still look good i think. Never seen one done before.

if you like it.. DO IT
who needs a spare tire? its just taking up weight...
get one of those spare-tire-in-a-can things.. (they work!) keep one in your trunk and have the mufflers molded into the spare tire compartment... heh
but then again.. thats if.. you can afford the labor...*smoke*

Just curious, whats the point of those dual exhaust? Trying to make it look like an E46 M3? Very expensive to do plus you loose power, I don't get it. Oh well... will you loose back pressure? Try no back pressure at all! Probably you will get power at 6000RPM, good luck.

I like the look of it.. But as MTRD said.. You will loose alot of back pressure.

That was my initial thought... but if I wasn't losing out on much, I'd probably all over it in a flash.
