View Full Version : check out my dual exhaust bumper!

ok so i got a reiger bumper then what i did was cut out a new spot for the dual exhaust on the right side, then i used fiberglass mat to smooth it out and make the lip to make it look good, i think it turned out pretty good worked on it all freakin day
heres a few pics

ill take a pic of it on the car tommorow, its too dark right now

oh and i took out the dip that goes underneath the ehxaust part on the left side

i think the design is nice but that bumper will be too low for the rest of the car no? i seen it on a bimmer n it looked nasty if u have a stock front m3 bumper n stock sideskirts

it looks very good on the car not too low in the back, im also running the reiger side skirts, so they flow very nicely from the side skirt to the rear bumper

Honestly, I've never liked the rieger rear. I find it too 'fat' for E36's.

I tend to agree.

Also you might want to spend some more time on it. The original cutout and yours dont look the same. You should make them symetrical.

im happy with how it turned out and its on the car now u cannot tell the difference that one side was home made and the other was fiberglassed on

its good enough that im not going to touch it, its the leave it as it is club for me!

its snowing right now and my cars dirty no pics today

I agree with bavaria u definetly need some clear coat but other than that it looks good for a homemade exhaust cut out.
