its not that bad of a price. if he has proof of a picture on how bad it was. i bought my 99cab with a clean title. the car was vandalized. the front of the car was all kicked in(hood, fenders, grill and lights) and the front bumper was missing. what would mine go for?(new paint, new wietec coilovers, new tires and 38 miles. interior looks brand new) its still not a bad price for a car which was never sold in canada. its a very rare car.

wanna post some engine pics & before after pics?
i just cant comprehend how an M3 can be written off for a bumped fender.

did the airbags go off?

automatic with sport button! *wiggle*

in that case my civic is semi-auto too :D

all that little sport button is tell the computer to start shifting gears at a higher rpm...(if i'm not mistaken) don't see how that makes the car a semi-auto

it's just auto bruh

for a montreal M3 convertable... even with a salvage title.. (it's gotta be more than just a fender to have been written off)... I'd still say it's an OK price... nothing special as mentioned.

Convertables own all.

I wanted to say that about fender beneder. He would rather have fixed it then putting salvage title on it. Probably it was chopped from lake. Thats what Americans do,they bring those cars to Canada.Way too risky to blow that kind ofcash on that car.I see usa plates on the car and hes selling it right away.......hmmmmmm

Yeah I feel like jumping in on this one too. I paid less that 2k more for my E36M with half the miles in mint shape (nearly salvage title though cause of the 3 rock chips on the front valance). I know it's not a vert but I have Vaders :) Plus it's semi-manual......semi cause if I put it in 5th to start, I can drive from a stop to top speed without shifting gears.....just takes me a little while. :moon:

You are full of S H I T

a car does not get a salvage title because of one damaged fender.

especially an M3 which is an expensive car. The insurance gave it a salvage title because there was excessive damage. It was cheaper for the Insurance company to pay the owner the retail price of the car than fixing it, which means that there must have been some serious damage or even frame damage.

Please do not bull S H I T on this forum, go somwhere else *par-t*

You still dont get it and i dont think you ever will... Let me spell it out for you one more time.

THE CAR WAS WRITTEN OFF BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY BECAUSE THEY FELT THE DAMAGE WAS EXCESSIVE ENOUGH NOT TO BE IN THEIR BEST INTEREST TO REPAIR IT.

THIS CAR HAS A BRANDED TITLE... CALL ANY DEALER AND FIND OUT HOW MUCH THEY WOULD PAY YOU FOR THE CAR THEN MENTION THAT IT HAS A SALVAGE TITLE AND SEE HOW MUCH THE PRICE DROPS.

Only an IDIOT would buy this car from you for the price you're asking. Sounds like you better start planning on keeping this car

In a case of a Theft-recovery car with a broken ignition and two scratches on the bumper come with a Salvage title too maybe BECAUSE THEY FELT THE DAMAGE WAS EXCESSIVE ENOUGH NOT TO BE IN THEIR BEST INTEREST TO REPAIR IT.......

See, more details you never told us.

If i was the type of person to steal cars and i stole an M3 you can bet your bottom dollar that i would beat the living **** out of it while having some fun!

Just something to for buyers to think about... Was the car driven hard? driven near redline most of the time? The engine can be on the way out and you might not even notice it.

Do you have pictures of the car's condition prior to any work being done but after it being recovered?

I still dont believe that the insurance company wrote it off because of a couple thousand dollars in damages. Do you have the actual quote the insurance company got on the car which they decided to base their opinion on to write the car off?

Just come from the BMW Dealer for my oil change and nothing wrong with the car ,drive smooth and got a
lot of power too (not like a 5 speed but its fine)
And for the before and after pix, i can provide them to a serious buyer no problem!

Why are you not willing to post the before and after pics here, could it because there is more damage than what you're telling us?

How about the quote which the insurance company got (as well as the previous owner) which they came to the conclusion that it is better to write the car off?

Do you honestly believe anyone would drop 30k on a car based on your oil change experience?

I'm starting to think you got suckered into this car and are now trying to unload it onto someone else.

I don't know who "nickrally" is, never met him but it sounds like this person
bought a lemon and is trying to get rid of it on this site. and for Your info "nickrally, I'm not jealous of You car, I do have the money if I really wanted to buy a car for this price, I have also owned BMW's which are much much nicer
than Yours. There are about 8 BMW's in Toronto driving around which I built.

You can't even imagine how many cars I have owned.

Your car is a lemon, try posting it on a Honda forum but please disclose all
information. If You don't You may actually get in trouble for withholding
information about the history of the car. there is a law that protects buyers
from people like You.
