Also, I'm willing to look at various trades or trades+cash type offers for this phone as well.

PCs, components (video cards etc), various E36 parts etc, may all be of interest.

Also, PDAs are something I'd consider in trade; Dell Axim X30 or X50, IPaq, etc, etc.

Make me an offer. I have zero use for the phone, so I'm wide open to offers and interesting deals.

Would you consider Anthony Quinn's old tee shirt?

For a trade+cash I might consider it, but I can buy a brand new 6620 for $550 CDN in Toronto, and can buy used for $400. Can't buy a brand new P900 for $400 CDN, or even a used one for that much.

Your phone + $200, and we could have a deal.

So P900 is top of the line phone available on market?

So P900 is top of the line phone available on market?

It's certainly one of the top phones on the market, yes. You can buy some unlocked third-party phones (ie, no SIM card, and no contract units) from places like Easycell.ca, most of which are imported, that are higher end. Heck, I'd like to buy a Motorola MPX, but at $1800, I'm not that interested. :D

The SE P900 is one of the top phones you can buy from any carrier in Canada or the U.S. (Europeans get all the really cool stuff long before we do). MP3 player, full integration with MS Outlook (tasks, e-mail, contacts, etc), bluetooth, tri-band GSM, touch screen with handwriting recognition, VGA camera, downloadable software, games etc. The Nokia 6620 is a great phone, but not the same functionality (PDA+phone) that the SE-P900 is.

The SE-P900 is pretty common in the UK, but here it's relatively rare. I get tons of comments on it from co-workers and clients who always say what a cool phone it is.

It's an awesome phone, but I'm using my RIM 7290 now, and it's just easier to have a single device for everything.

Like I said, I'm open to all offers on the P900, though the t-shirt is a bit lowball. :D

What firmware you got on that phone? I'm really considering the phone now >< but I hate to loose 850MHz ...... reception in elevators *love*

Yes P900 is definetly one of the top of the line phones out there even though its been out for a while now and P910i is there to Replace it... Also Motorola MPX is not a big deal ;\ its just new thats why it costs so much money and I'm sure once it gets mass produced and price drops a lot then it won't be any better then P900 also you can get MPX100 for 1500$ CAD :D now MPX3000 is a whole other story ... also 1500$ CAD ;\ .... but for that price I'd rather buy a Palm for 500$ and get a good phone for 500$ and for another 500$ I would pay the whole year subscription on my phone

The P900 has the latest Sony firmware on it....the specific code release I don't know off-hand (I'll pull the unit out and fire it up tomorrow to check).

As to 850 MHz, I don't know of any carriers who are actually running GSM 850 MHz here in Canada. It's been allocated, but most of the carriers are running 1.9 GHz.

Yeah, the P910i / P910a is on the market now, but it's north of $1000, unless you can find someone who wants to unload it rapidly. Even then, it's going to be used, and still north of $900 for the phone. None of the carriers in North America are carrying it yet, so you're looking at independent third party dealers only (no discount rates for upgrades or new contracts).

I haven't checked out the 3000, but Motorola does have some decent hardware coming out. Again, the lucky European buggers get all the good stuff first.

Thanks for info! Yup This guy told me that P900s are way more used in Europe and phones like SL65 ,P900. Sony ERICSSON have some nice phone and reception. My bro is using T68 SE with blue tooth and the most suprising thing is that he could make phone calls from bloor subway last week.(lol people gave him some weird look..) I think that fair deal for P900....

Rogers is now using 850 MHZ and some providers in StatesLIKE AT&T I believe ... also most of the phones I bought were 3rd party and I don't really like singing contracts so I don't ming paing more then I have to.
