Would this board be good for someone say 6 feet tall and 200lbs?

6 feet tall should get a longer board, weight doesn't matter

but if it's for beginner, shorter the better :D

why is a shorter board better for a beginner?

if your a beginer, shorter is better because you can turn more easily as there is less board length to turn and the shorter the slower you go

im 5'7" a 160 would be a good size for me but i use a 139, spins a lot faster and quicker!

IMHO weight/size/strength DOES matter. but you won't be able to tell unless you flex the board. beginners generally do better with softer rides. i would imagine that a bmw branded board is beginner to intermediate and therefore a very pliable board with mediocre "snap"

my opinion (and again, my opinion only) this board is the right length for you but maybe a bit too pliable if you're 200lbs. you want a board with a decent snap that allows you to pop out of your turns more quickly. then again, too stiff a board and you may have a hard time turning as a beginner.

I myself is 165lbs and 5'9, using the same size board by Burton, perfect for myself.

I'll let it go for $250

Retail for over $350 plus tax at bmw dealer, and you can't find it anywhere now. can be a collector item even if you don't ride OR after u used it!

hey there

if you want to sell your bag separately, let me know.. I would be on that BMW board in a second if I did not get my Burton last yr. How does that Burton board ride? I ride a Burton Republik 161 right now...

Maybe I can get it as a second board :)

165cm is a bit long for my liking miguel, and I am also 6' go with something shorter. Your obviously new to the sport or you wouldn't be asking. I say try something around a 158. I find thats the perfect size for my height.

Do you know who made this board? Manufacturer? They just put in 400 new skiable acres at my local hill, all Double Black Diamonds. So now I need a second, longer board.
-Thanks!
