View Full Version : Mini iPOD for $249!!!

10-21-2004, 01:36 AM
I am selling MINI iPODS (4GB Hard Drive that can hold around 1000songs)

These are brand new iPODS purchased straight from the Apple Headquarters in Taiwan and they have never been used or opened for that matter. They come in various different colors and as I said earlier they have a 4GB hard drive. This is a very good deal as this price is just barely above cost. They are selling for $349 at Future Shops across the country. I am selling them for $249 plus gst and altogether that comes to $266.43. Please PM me if you're interested in one. This is a great deal if anybody is looking to buy one of these iPODS. Thank you.

PS The ipods come with all the necessary programs...such as itunes etc. that you will need to use the device.

I live in Calgary, Alberta so it would be a lot easier if you live in my area but if not I'm sure we can work something out. Thanks again.

Mine personally is a blue one but you can get any color you want...(I believe they are blue, white, silver or pink). I don't have a digital camera so I can't really take a picture of it but there a lots of links on the internet that have a picture of them and their features. You can go to futureshop.com to check them out.

we need to pay GST for private sale?

10-21-2004, 05:46 PM
The rep that I purchase them from has told me that I must charge GST. I have no idea why...I am currently trying convince him to let me sell them for 250 even. I'm pretty sure he just wants to make a little extra cash. I will keep you posted. PM me if you want exact details as to price, shipping etc. Thanks.

I understand the suspicion because I was suspicious when I was talking to the rep at school. I would much rather any buyers live in the Alberta area because then I could meet with them in person and do the transaction in person. It would be difficult to do long distance transactions but we might be able to work something out.

This is how everything is going down.

I am located in Calgary, Alberta and I am selling mini 4GB iPODS for $249 dollars even. The order is being placed in the middle of November and at the very latest will arrive beginning to mid December. You will not be receiving a receipt as the only receipt I receive is for the grand total (I can show you that invoice if you like) from the iPOD representative. I can guarantee that these iPODS ARE brand spankin new and have not been opened at all. You will recieve it like yo would if you bought it full price at a retailer. I will not take paypal or cheque. CASH ONLY. Please email me at ipodgroupbuy@hotmail.com if you're interested. Thanks all.

holy shit, some trusting people here, anyone willing to send 250$ to someone with 10 posts from out of province has got some serious balls.

Wonder how long until the "I got ripped off thread" use some judgement when buying online guys...

if i had access to such deals i'll be putting them on ebay. that way people will be more comfortable to purchase since they are protected against scams with paypal.

although not all people are scamers...
