I have them on my 318i ( e30) and they lowerd it very nicely. They are good for street use but when i autocrossed with them they was soft as hell. When i boguht them i had no intention of autocrossing though, but hten i caught the bug :P

they're too soft, go with H&R

How the hell would you know that?!?!?!?! :)

The softness depends on a number of things: shocks is one of them. I never thought they were soft when I had them paired up with Bilsteins. They lower the car nicely and the ride wasn't too bad at all. I did about ~10 autocrosses with them and never had a problem. If your car is a daily driver and you drive in the winter they are good springs for the money.

PS BTW I have 318ti BAVSport springs for sale.

Hmmm.. I have them paired with Bilstein Sports, maybe that's why I can still stand them. I want H&R's still anyways :P

Are you running stock sway bars? If yes then change them first and leave the springs alone.

My advice to you would be to swap the bars. Get some Eibach ones or H&R, etc. They will make MUCH more of a difference than the H&R springs.
