Quick question guys. If the centre bore of some wheels is 54.1 and the centre bore on the car I want to put the wheels on is 56.1 am I going to have a fitment problem?

Very much. Think about it. :P

BTW, the car centerbore is 56mm, the wheel centerbore is .1 larger.

There is hubcentric rings that are probably availables, but you should be carefull with the wheel offset if the wheel is comming from an other car model.

Ya it makes sense that it might not fit....the wheels are for a Kia Rio by the way, not my car! Trying to get snow tires for my GF's car.
As for offset, most front small front wheels drive cars have similar offsets don't they. ie, Civic, Corolla, Protoge, Escort, and Kia??

Hey now, bottlecap centrebore is 57.1.

13" or 14" steelies are readily available for cheap anywhere, but I'm sure you knew that. I'm doing the same thing actually, buying snow tires for the girl's car. It's not worth the risk, I'd hate myself if I chose not to and something happened to her.

No No, no bottlecaps for the Kia..haha..
Ya Steelies, are cheap, just found some used ones, that were on a corolla before. Not sure if I want to go used, but the tires are the correct size, and apparently "like new"
Hey Jay you can get tires cheap right?
What can you get in a 175/65/14 size?
