Read in the Globe and Mail Automotive that they are planning for release in N/A in 2007.

BMW 120I costs over 30 000 euros in Germany. That's with all the toys in it and leather.
Here are some pictures when this dude took while taking 120i for the test drive. IMO car looks ok ,interior is sweet but front grill is kinda cheap..
ALSO I heard the 120 is quick and handles really nice.

Apparently BMW's not sure there is much of a market for it here.....

Additionally I suspect they're concerned it'll dip into the 3 and Mini sales.

If you goto BMW UK site, it will give you the spec and price for the 1 series.
Not sure if the price will be the same here in North America but it's damn expensive!!!

It reminds me of a 4door ///M-coupe.

It's about time they brought a hatch over...the sooner the better. I'm seeing an inproportunate number of Mercedes C-Coupes roaming around. Sales that BMW could have easily made with the E46 6-cylinder Ti or the 1 series.

we'll get the 1-series.
but not in the form of hatchback, whether 3 doors or 5 doors.

the version we are getting will be the coupe/sedan/cabriolet.

and that's why we'll only see 1-series in North America untill 2007. because that's about the time when other configuration of 1-series start to appear. *th-up*

I don't think there should be a market for it anywhere on this planet. :puke:
