Thats what you get for spending 100k+ on a car and not spending 700 dollars on something called boomerang.
Idiots.
Dealer or not, it should be installed on EVERY high end car.

I would say it was an E39 M5 because the new E60 M5 is not out yet in Canada. OR is it???

boomerang I: tracking chip in car, when ur car is stolen u call them and they track it and notify police

boomerang II: one chip in the car, one on ur key chain, when the car is turned on and drives away without the other chip in the car boomerang automatically notify's you and the police and tracks it

That car is right now probably half-way across the Atlantic headed to Russia or some other part of eastern Europe.

Gone! Poof!

The SAME scam nearly happened to may dad... (he works at DVN Toyota)

A couple of guys came in to test drive a Supra Turbo...guy in driver seat, my dad in the passenger seat, and a guy in the back. Just before they headed out, my dad noticed that the shift knob was missing- it had been a showroom car so they had taken off the knob...my dad said he'll run in and get one...as my dad went into the dealership...the guys took off...

Cops said this was a common trick with a guy sitting in the back so the saleman can't see what he's doing...and that my dad was extremely lucky he got out...

:D I have here a BMW M5 2003 that I am planning to make it a light weight racing car so I don't need anything out of it. I am parting it out. If anyone interested in any items pm me I will take the best offer and I am giving everything out for cheap since I need it to be gone fast.
