where can I get a set?... I ordered my rims from Cali.. they were shipped out last Thursday. I got them in today! (WTF!)... I paid for 3-4 weeks shipping.. he did Xpress Post.. (Sweeeeet!)

I'm not putting them on w/o locks though.. (not generic bmw locks.. like real ones...)

i was thinking the same thing about gorilla locks... gator grip can remove them. wasn't positive though.. at least I know now.

How about 1 of each lock? McGard, Gorilla, and BMW OEM? :D

i have bbs wheel locks ... and i don't think it is very easy to remove those.

go to wheel and tire zone - 40 bucks

i'm not sure but i think qmr motor sports has them too 905.856.0041

i've actually seen a gator grip remove a gorilla lock (not for any illegal purpose ofcourse..my friend lost his key..lol) and it's quicker to remove them than it is to put them on..

Wow!!... Seemed like a good lock..as there is little room to get vise-grips on wheel... McGard's I find are a PITA...

I put Gorilla's on AND OEM lock is still on too... what else can you do besides chain the wheels to a street lamp....

Thx for the info though...

Drop by a dealer with your BMW Club card (you have one, of course) and pick up a set.

The lock from my previous 328Ci (E46 '00) is different from my current 330Ci. Whether it is the same lock for all cars of one particular model I don't know (I hope not).

OEM wheel locks have approx. 50 diff combos.. I just broke mine..and dealer used Master set to determine.. which key-code..

So 1-50 BMW wheel locks will work on your oem locks...

I don't think it really matters what type or if one is better than the other. If someone wants your rims there going to take them. Just get any set to make it more difficult. Personally, I would look into a tilt sensor for your car (if you have an alarm) for further safety.

really?.. I didn't know that... I thought all BMW locks were the same... I used my keys on a couple other bimmers before and it worked okay...
