View Full Version : My new Vehicle (non BMW)

I knew my next vehicle would be rear wheel drive and have more than 200hp, but wow did I ever go a different direction.
Yes the BMW days are now coming to a close(91 318is in the for sale section).
But I couldn't be happier, I now have an awesome 2004 Ford F150 SuperCrew 4x4. What a beast, perfect for the on going home renovations!

sweet... my next ride will most likely be a pickup or a 4x4 of some sort... bimmer seats are getting too small to cradle my fat ass.

I tell you the view from up here is quite different, still adjusting my driving style from carving the offramps to double and triple checking all around me.
Nice having a new vehicle though, everything works as it should, full warranty around me....I'm loving it.

The new F-150 is the best truck on the market now. (imo) They look good inside and out. My friend bought one too, now, i dont know the models or options or whatever, ( i think its sport trim or something) His bumpers are not crome, and his grill is different. (not the mesh u have). *th-up* nice buy tho.

Lennon, mailbox now empty, thanks.
Thanks for all the comments, I can't stop grinning driving this thing....must be my mid life crisis:D
But we are in the process of renovation a 48 yr old home with a reasonably large property so will get it's intended use.
I agree with you Rocketman, this truck looks awesome, inside and out....not a single thing I would change. Although I'm a little nervous when I get to my first fill up..the gas tank is huge at 135 litres.
Here is a picture of the interior from the net. My digital camera is missing right now:confused:

ohhh man ur problems have just began.. a couple years n ur gunna freaken be puttin in so much money in repairs on it
i have a ford explorer n fuk its ridiculous...
but ya it is a lil different driving the truck.. like u have 2 defently go slower around turns then u would do in cars and checkin round the car takes FOREVER..
takes awhile to get used to. but defenetly worth it. :)

I was picking a Lariat up for work and it died on me within 1km of the shop. It said low oil pressure and just kept dying. Not a good experience with those as i nearly got smoked by a 18wheeler. This truck had less than 10km on it. But it is a ****in moster, I used to have a expedition and i thought that was big, untill i drove this thing haha. It had huuuuuuuuuuuge mirrors too
