The new BMW 3 series will be introduced in 4 models.
The 320i will no longer have a 6 cylinder engine, it will be powered with the 4 cylinder engine from the new BMW 1 series. That means the 320i will have 150hp and a top speed of 219km/h.
The BMW 330i will have the new 3.0 engine that was recently introduced in the new 630i. The 330i will have 258hp and a limited top speed of 250km/h.
The BMW 330i will do 0-62mph in 6.3 seconds.
The 325i will also have a new engine that produces 218hp. The 325i will do 0-62mph in 7 seconds.
The BMW 320d also has a new engine producing 163hp. The BMW 320d will have a top speed of 225km/h and will do 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds.

Ya but isn't BMW notorious for underrating their hp ratings and 0-100 times??

Actually, it does 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 6.3sec.
It will probably do 0-60mph in 5.9sec.

Risky design, i think they forgot what "conservative" means. i really thing chris bangle is gonna be the downfall of BMW, he has the right idea, the wrong design

It is SLOW. There is the same Torque at 1000 RPM lower with extra 35hp and acceleration is still very close to current E46 official numbers.

I highly doubt that to go from 0-96km/hr (0-60) to 100km (extra 4 km) will take an extra 0.4 seconds (almost half a second).
Especially with higher rev limiter up to 7000, you should be easily reach 100/km/hr in 2nd gear without upshifting.

Sure, BMW numbers are conservative, but these numbers are still very close to current BMW's E46 "conservative numbers, which means the real E90 numbers will not be far behind real E46 numbers = in stock form for E46 330 it is 6.1+ seconds for 0-60.

So big deal 5.9 seconds, which is only an improvement of 0.2 seconds. The current E46 330 Performance Edition / ZPH (in US) can pull this numbers.
