i installed my new electic aftermarket fan today
the fan of choice was a 14" perma-cool 1600CFM 10 blade fan

my first attempt was to remove the stock one and just mount the new one there, after driving around with that for a bit i came to the conclusion it wasnt powerful enough to suck air through the air conditioner, tranny cooler and the rad.

my solution was to flip the fan and put it on the inside of the rad, facing the engine. to make it not seem to crowded i removed the fan shroud, (my clutch fan was already removed) however with this mod u can rid yourself of the clutch fan and free up aprox 7hp (from what ive herd)

when i put the fan on the inside of the rad it worked much better then on the outside, very happy with the results and half the price as a stock replacement.
the fan itself was 170 CAN with taxes
the thermostat switch and wiring kit was 20 CAN with taxes

for under 200 bucks i got a nice electic cooling fan with a clutch fan delete!

if u guys want pics i can get sum tommorow
