I just got my A/V setup re-done at Kennedy HiFi. I'm now running Focal Polyglass 165V2 in the doors and 130CV in the rear deck. The woofer was changed to a 10" JL Audio W7 and everything is driven by two PG amps. I have for sale my previous custom subwoofer box and the HK speakers that were replaced if anyone is interested..

I kinda liked the old setup, it was pshycadelic.. (sp?)
Does the new one light up?

I like the old ones as well, but I wanted the W7 which couldn't be set up that way because its way to big.. The new one lights up as well.. although its not nearly as bright..

looks good man, although just wondering why you would change it? i would preferably have picked the first set up, looks a lot better:confused: more power with your new set up? looks like you would with the twin subs, but anyways it still looks good!!*th-up* *wiggle*

opps i meant looks like you would have more power with your new set up, twin amps*

The old setup was pretty good, but it was made for only one amp so when i decided to upgrade my components and add a second amp, i had to take the old custom box out and re-do it.. plus after I heard the W7 I had to have it.. this was the perfect opportunity to do it.. :)

oh yeah and even though the W7 is a single 10", it gives me the same output as the double 10" setup.. :)
one amp drives the woofer, the other drives the components..

Regardless of equipment and sound quality, the old set-up looks best IMO.

looks good, but if sound is better stick with the new setup

Kennedy Hi-Fi, nice. I'm always around there. I'm sure it costed you a pretty penny for that setup.

I prefer the looks of the old setup.
But the NEON tubes have to go... NEON causes a lot of noise interference with audio, and especially video/dvd equipment in cars. Always go with LED lighting for your custom setup.
Also, the newer setup is much smarter design... you have trunk space again! you can put things in your trunk... no worries about puncturing your subwoofer.
Get a gate-clipped cover for your subwoofer in your new setup. Obviously keep it off most of the time, since they're so ugly... but if you ever did need to put something in your trunk and worried about it hitting / puncturing your subs... just clip it on.
Lastly, if your old custom box will fit in an E36.. PM me with a price.
Good job with both your setups... looks really good. What headunit are you using?

lol... I just noticed your signature on the right. I never really looked at it.. always just glanced by and always thought it was angel eyes. Now I see it's a pic of your previous trunk setup. :)
