View Full Version : Exhaust leak

So my recent incident caused the exhaust leak from hell.
Its leaking at the joint where the exhaust manifold meets the rest of the system.
How much of it needs to be replaced in this case?
It smells and sounds like death

pm jase...he has an exhaust for sale..
Likely the gasket got disturbed. Go to the stealership, buy new gaskets (manifold to head and manifold to system) and replace them. That's what I would do after checking to make sure the nuts are on tight of course (or the studs aren't broken).

If you broke the studs ... email me or PM me 'cause I can give you tips on how to replace them, I did it a few weeks ago. It's a royal pain in the ass.

Sounds loud eh?!!!! When I had my o2 sensor out becuase I needed a new hole made, it smelt so bad. The car was so loud, especially when you brought it to the redline and took your foot off the gas.
