Nice work is that the m20 motor??

DanPinder

Thanks!

Yes, it is an m20. The bottom end is stock 2.5L and I have done a small amount of head work, including a 3 angle grind. I also had a custom turbo spec cam made.

The motor is set up for 15psi+ with a megasquirt engine management system.

The short runner intake manifold is custom made, and the throttle body is a 70mm BBK for a mustang.

As you can see a lot of work was put into customizing the valve cover also.

Good question. My goal right now is around 400hp at the crank.

let me tell you, obec thinks that you can weld aluminum to steel and says he has with his car. also he has a 800hp s14 twin turbo m3 that he will not show anyone. he says its his top secert car he drives at night. he also asks a lot of question about turboing because after he built his m3 with his friend he didnt learn anything. also he probably has not yet read maximum boost which will answer all his questions or look up bimmerjim i think it is that has the car in nebraska for info. you should read some of the post this guy has. also him and slowered are supposed to race, slowered has a 550hp fourbanger. oh yeah i forgot to tell you objec also has a 250hp 325e. by the way objec you still welding, and have you read the book, you can have mine just pay the shipping.

:-P a twin turbo 800hp S14 nothing impressive, I got a type XW-12 anti-matter engine in my car.. i can reach 2.5 time the speed of light...
the problem are the tires... they get atomized at 20 000km/sec!

;-)
nice engine bay! and nice custom job... must be a lot of work!

That expantion tank looks real nice dan! Kudos.
Does it have the same capacity as the OE unit?
Custom?

That think really looks bitch'in. :)

And any updates on the beast yet?

Thanks. I don't know about the capacity. It's just a catch can with pipe fittings on it to make the right connections. simple as that.

I'm still waiting on the fuel injectors and megasquirt. I bought a new intercooler for her which is of bar and plate design and runs 3" inlet/outlet.

I also painted the charge pipes today with a metallic charcoal grey. :0

I think that intake manifold i s great, I will be needing on my m50 next summer. I figure by then I will be satisfied with the NA m50 and be longing for more torque and hp.
