I'm gonna be down in Toronto this wednesday, and I really need 2 tires, 225 45 17 Falken Azenis Sport. Is there any place that will have these in stock? anywhere you know? That will give me good prices? I really need them because if I drive my car down there my tires will prolly will be done, they are allready slicks, I'm debating if I should drive down on them or not.

Someone please help me!

Nope it isn't an SVT and no it doesn't come with 17's, but these are the Ford Mondeo ST200 wheels, I got a Baer Big Brake kit behind those wheels, thats why I can't fit smaller then 17's. I'm pretty happy that I didn't buy an SVT either, because I pretty much upgraded everything (it will be everything once the new engine and tranny goes in) that the SVT has different, not including interior since the interior is actually better then an SVT.

I've got 2 front BMW M3 (OEM) Dunlop 8080 tires in the size 225/45/17 (60% / 95% thread left) available.
I also have one BMW M3 (OEM) Dunlop 8080 rear tire in the size 245/40/17 (40%thread left) available for cheap money.

If you're still interested or anyone else, please contact me at Mrvster@aol.com and I'll hook you up.

Best,

Marv.

Nice car! I'll make a call this afternoon, I'll PM you the price and if they have it in., which they most likely will.

Oh, and Azenis Sports rock, nothing else comes close. I run them everyday too. *th-up*

"SOLDOMATIC 325i',

Not sure if you were asking me for a price, but I'm looking to get for:

1 front BMW M3 (OEM) Dunlop 8080E tire in the size 225/45/ZR17 (60% thread left) = CAN $ 95

1 front BMW M3 (OEM) Dunlop 8080E tire in the size 225/45/ZR17 (95% thread left) = CAN $ 175

These are top of the line Dunlops (ZR rated).....in PERFECT condition...NO Plugs or Repairs !
These are SUPER expensive at the dealer = CAN $350 & UP
Not sure if you are familiar with this model, but they have a really usefull rim-protector feature build in, which protects your precious rims against curb rash (I really miss this feature on my new tires).

Buy the set and I'll let them go for CAN $250...that should be fair.

Let me know what you think,

Marv.

I'm really interested, and i would WANT to grab the set, but i would have some serious rubbing issues with the 245's in the rear, i have SLIGHT rubbage and i'm only running 235's now. I have dunlops in my rear, and i always thought this rim-protector thing was just false advertising but man did they save my life last week!!

and by 60% front tread left.... are you being GENEROUS, i mean is there enough to last me for the summer, even with a few track days planned?

Lemme know ASAP cause i'd love to pick them up from you if the tread is nice!

EDIT..... sorry, i just realized, how many tires do you have left? In the top it says you have 3, but in the bottom all you have left is the 2 fronts, is that correct? So is the tire difference between the 2 tires really noticeble!?

Do you want something really good, like an RE750 or S-03 or do you want pretty good, like ES100 or random Falken/Hankook. I deal with Wheels Direct, so whatever colour of the rainbow you like, tell me.

Jon,

"Yes", I still have all 3 tires available.
The difference in thread depth between the 2 front tires should not affect the handling and if you're as picky as me you can always increase the tire pressure by a couple of Psi on the 60% thread tire.
When you say you have slight rubbage riding 235's, what are the rest of the dimensions of that tire = 235/??/??.
Wondering if your 2nd number (aspect ratio) is higher than 40 ?
If that's the case, it would explain the rubbing, as a 235/45/17 tire is MUCH taler than my 245/40/17 ?

"Yep", I really miss that Dunlop rim protector feature on my S-03's.....always stresses me out when parking...not that I drive like a dork or anything.*wiggle*

In terms of my description.....I am NEVER generous...ALWAYS accurate = it's the German in me :huh?:
I'll even offer a 48 hr money back guaranty, as long as you don't track them for the day and bring them back in the evening.

If you have any further questions.....let me know.

Best,

Marv.
