My buddy is planning to get his Impala done there and they'll charge him $805 for the fukn tint.

He says they actually take the windows off the car and bake it with the tint film on. I can't see them doing this though.
Has anyone done tining at Marnello BMW?

$800??? Go to tint king and get it done for $150 with lifetime warranty, and spedn $650 on a better mod. Or heck, go anywhere else and get it done.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. My tint was done through the dealership when I first purchased my integra 8 years ago brand new and since then the tint is still holding up very well with no bubbling to this day. btw, The tint was thrown in as part of the deal and it was worth 300 so maybe 800 is steep but then again its a BMW dealership so that explains it.

whaaaat .... 805 bucks ... how many impala does he have ...5 ..
my friend had his e46 tinted there when he bought the car there and it was like a couple hundred bucks and did very good job but it wasn't done there. I mean the guy from maranello said they took it to get it done to somebody who does good job especially for bmw.

Is it April 1st?

800 is ridiculous.

As for longevity, my Civic was tinted at FX four years ago. Looks brand new. 200, incl. moon roof...

Want to do my BMW, but hear soooo much about the dot matrix, and I'm Type A about my ride.

800 + smacks for a tint, where, at Maranello?

Why am I not suprised......

FYI, cost me $300 to get my newly aquired 330i done several years ago at Maranello. In all fairness, it was the best tint I've seen.

I just got mine tinted at Lazer Tint in woodbridge. It is about 2 seconds from maranello in the plaza beside ice cream patio. I got the pinnacle series ceramic tint with lifetime warranty from formula one. It was expensive but definitely worth it. It is the best tint on the market in my opinion and i did my homework on it. Also they have a computer cut the film rather than having someone cut the film by hand and risking cutting your mouldings. Give them a call and see what they say. I am very happy with mine. Tell them Paul sent you.(905) 717- 8468
Here are some pics of mine done 35%

PS- maranello does not do their own tinting they have someone come or they send it out, i am not sure.

Hope this help

LOL, I went to Maranello today and asked personally how much.
They said $400 and they send it to Royal tint.

SO, I called royal tint and they want $225 + tax.

Someone's trying to rip him pretty hard.

lol only an idiot would pay $800.

just go to a well known tint shop and make sure to ask what kind of film. DONT GET DIED FILM!!! thats the stuff that bubbles.

what you want is metallic tint... that stuff never bubbles and looks show quality. should cost around $260-300 with tax.
