Since i need a coil for my e30 I was wondering if i can use a universal msd coil. They are higer performance output so i was wondering if ti would work.

i would assume that you can. we use them on the land cruisers that we work on, i would go with accel coil but that is just because i have seen them on almost every motor that i work on (applications). i hjave seen them on 325's around here. dont know for sure though. let me know, my coil is stock from 87 with 215,000 miles on it, it cant be pumpin the power it used to.
