I found this Gem for sale.It is located in Ottawa Ontario. 2 owners.
Details:
The car is 1972 PL510 2-dr
It is completely restored and like new, with all steel panels (no fibreglass) in Porsche red.
Mods: 2litre engine, with head ported and polished; cam, and titanium retainers; , twin 40 Weber's, BRE intake (rare) headers, and stainless steel exhaust (inc muffler); 5-sp trans (200SX), LSD 3.9; upgraded brakes with stainless steel brake lines (all new); front air dam; Cibies, and driving lamps, extra instrumentation, centre console, racing seats, and full Targa Newfoundland certified roll cage; racing harnesses.
Four sets of wheels: 13 x 7 ARE Libres (the traditional wheel for the 510); 14 x 7 Epsilon (3-piece) w tires); 15 x 7 Panasports (new) with tires; and very rare SSR 2-piece 15 x 7 wheels (no tires), ~ value in wheels alone is $5k;
lowered suspension with proper struts (69), cross member, with camber adj., and alum spacers to compensate for lowered susp;
Many other small and trick items.......
Numerous spares (inc body panels), dashes etc);
..spent $2600.00 on the roll cage, with NASCAR-style door bars -- fabricated by Stu Trudel (one of Canada's best roll cage builders), and legal for the Targa Newfoundland. Also, just spent a chunk of dollars on a pile of miscellaneous stuff....from latches, wiring to consoles!!
Yes, the company "FAR" is long gone, but the car has NOT driven car for 20 years -- yet everything on the car is new, including the engine, paint etc., yet 20 years old. Never exposed to sun, and always covered (Beverley Hills custom car cover). Owner has many parts, some from the original and famous California parts houses, (new drilled rotors, and much more etc), which he purchased on a trip to Ca in the 70s!!.
Yes, car is still on the points system (eech!!), and next on his list to change, but when he built the 2L engine, electronic ignitions were quite new...
The car has a factory tach (with spare); supplementary gauges (properly fitted to radio panel); a brand new, factory console (just purchased, in fact), and the list goes on; racing seats...this is no ordinary 510.
A front air dam very carefully crafted to front valance (easily removable); driving lamps; SSS badging (original, and very rare on B-pillar); Euro (new) tail-lamps (front as well -- NOS -- in box); ss (new) exhaust; two(2) sets of headers....two or so new three-core rads; rebuilt hd alternators....
The car needs teething -- never done -- as it has essentially not been driven; rather worked on for many years...
