Why wouldn't they fit the M3? They headers 325 and 3L M3 headers are identical, as at the 328 and 3.2L M3 headers.

B) Good luck getting even 15hp out of a header for an E36. Genie headers will give you about 7hp max.

The reason I got the Genie headers is for clearance for the M50 engine to fit in the E30. The Genie headers are high quality and sound really nice! If you are building up a NA motor then you should get them.

It is kinda like getting underdrive pulleys.....getting the very last little bit of HP out of the engine. Which is always big $$$ for small gains.

Ya, thats true, but $250 for headers seems TOO cheap, like the SS headers go for like 1200 US??

Are there any headers for E36's that are in this price range, ALSO i just recently picked up a cat back exhaust, so the headers would go well, but i was wondering, is it possible to get the headers and slap everything on and NOT have my car be loud, i'm not big on NOISE!

SERIOUSLY??!

Whats wrong, care to elaborate??
I know they're not gonna give me anything CLOSE to 15 hp, i'm just considering getting them to do my exhaust sytem properly so it goes from the engine straight out!

i'm sporting those ebay headers on my car. Not sure if these ones for sale are the same or not, but I've had no problems yet.
My car gained a lot in the top end, as well as got rid of a bit of hesitation I had at the lower rpms

Hey contra, if you don't mind me askin did yours run around the same price, i dunno why but $250 for headers just seems too cheap, and also, hows the car sound now, is it LOUD, cause i wanna get this but not a BIG fan of the noise, i'd like to keep it as quiet as possible!

I didn't notice much difference in sound. There is a noticable growl but it's not very loud. Mind you, I dont have an exhaust on my car yet either, still running stock. I paid $135 USD for mine, but these might not the same as what I bought.

1200, hmmmmmmmm, hows 1100 sound!!

Sorry man, like i said, i have NO KNOWLEDGE on headers, and everytime i've EVER priced out headers for my car at different shops it was NEVER cheaper than 900 + tax!

I'm very interested in this, and i'd like to pick it up sometime next week, is that cool?

Ebay headers are basically cleaned up stock M52 (328/3.2L M3)headers....

The stock M52 headers are stainless steel, and welded tubes, no cast like the M50 headers, but they're not polished, and I can't see too much difference in flow. Plus if you've every tried to change the exhaust manifold on e36's, you'd know it's not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do.

actually the ebay headers are quite different than the stock ones. First off, for owners of pre '95 cars, they weigh quite a bit less than stock cast ones. Also, the ports on them are much larger as well, the piping themselves doesn't have any of the weird bends or pinched parts that the stock ones do (on pre '95 cars which I consider a restriction).
They're no genie headers, but they are different.
