View Full Version : M3 colors with M performence package.

Alright, I've decided to go ahead and buy the 330. I was talking to a saleman and he said that if I get the M performence package (kit, suspensions, 235hp, etc) on the 330i, I can also choose M3 colors. So I told him to find out if I can get Carbon Black on red. He said it'd be no problem.

I've never heard of or seen this. Is he telling me the truth. He told me he'd E-Mail me the price and everything, but no E-Mail yet.

I really hope he wasn't lying, cause that would be awesome. I don't really get why he would lie, considering he just sold my parents 2 cars, so it's not like he was humoring me or anything.

Nope he was telling you the truth. If you get the "M pac" you can get M3 colours. My buddies dad has an E39 5 series in imola red. Best luck, my dad's M3 cab is carbon black, and I think it's the nicest colour I have ever seen. It's black but looks blue in certain lights. And with the red interior, nice choice!

imola red interior? pimpin...get ti silver trim too! dude thats awesome, so u gonna trade in ur car for it?

06-22-2004, 12:39 PM
thats fawking sexy. So it's possible to get a Laguna Seca M330ci.

I've seen a 330i with M-Tech kit in Estoril Blue. *th-up* So yeah, it's possible.

That's ballin' then. The only crappy thing is that the car will arrive in either Augest or September, depending on if I order it before this Friday. But I think it's worth the wait.

Yeah, I'm trading in my car.

you should just buy my M3 instead and you can get the real thing. Remember that Carbon Black is Blue in the light, so Im not sure if IR will look good. I think Cinnamon interior would look better.

06-22-2004, 02:58 PM
M3 is too much for insurance right now. I'm only 19.

06-22-2004, 04:58 PM
don't get carbon black... I see nothing special about it. :( even to the trained eye, sometimes carbon black is just black. or dark blue like mentioned above.

Estoril Blue, imola red, silver grey would be awsome choices!!

06-22-2004, 05:15 PM
estoril blue or Le Mans blue is the way to go.

06-22-2004, 05:57 PM
expect to pay about 4000 more for the colour u want

06-22-2004, 07:34 PM
when I checked, it was $2000 or so, because I wanted to originallly get Le Mans Blue.

06-22-2004, 07:42 PM
Sounds sic but the carbon black isn't a good choice for a long term daily driver.*no-no*

Looks sexy when clean though... maybe Tlaselva can add some advise from a former carbon black owner.*th-up*

06-27-2004, 02:57 AM
Well the dealer kind of lied to me. Technically, you CAN get red leather but you have to go through BMW Individual. It'll cost $6300 extra. Not really worth it. I guess I'm going to go for Imola Red on Black.

06-27-2004, 11:28 PM
see...i know it would be 4000+....cause i was very close to buy special coloured m3...it is silver but kinda pink....they wanted 4300 dollors more for it....

and at bmw autohas...there is indu. cb black me...and its 8300 dollors for it...damn...but its looks so ****ing nice...

i wanna trade my m3 for it....*th-up*

06-28-2004, 12:33 AM
ok if M3 interior colours are 6300, are the M3 exterior colours an individual order as well? or just the extra money for the metallic paint option

06-28-2004, 01:33 AM
The guy said the only M3 colors available with the M package are:

Some kind of green, Mystic Blue, Imola Red and another one I think.

So I guess Carbon Black is an individual color order.

06-28-2004, 09:18 AM
So what color are you going to go with UncleJ?

The mystic blue would look unique.

06-28-2004, 12:44 PM
I was thinking Mystic Blue but it looks kind of purple on BMW.ca

I want to see it in person. I'm most likely going for Imola Red.

06-28-2004, 02:36 PM
do mistic blue its the pimpest colour, i seen it maybe 2 times n its totally pimp

06-28-2004, 06:41 PM
Just buy my M3. Mystic Blue is nice, its more bluish/purple than Topaz Blue. Persoanlly I like Topaz better, but Im biased. Good luck.

Carbon Black is a beautiful color, but as all black cars demand, they are time consuming to keep clean. It would demand a wash every weekend, and spent hours upon hours with the Zaino products to keep it swirl free. But once bathed, it was a color to ogle.

Guess it had a negative physiological affect on me cuz the two cars I've purchased afterwards are grey..........:D

Sigh, gone, but not forgotten.........

^^^^hehehe....yes i've noticed this too.
our rx is carbon/charcoal type colour...and is a BIATCH to keep clean

however the silver civic is so easy...sometimes when it's FILTHY>...it still looks clean :D

but the damn RX..i haev to clean it every weekend or it looks like we went off roading
