jeremy, what bolt pattern are you going to ?

4x100 can't go to 5x120
4x100 adapters can only go to:

- 4x100, with different centre bore sizes
- 4x108
- 4x98
- 4x114.3
- 4x130
- 5x100
- 5x130

i'll be using:

- front: 25mm
- rear: 20mm

both are 4x100 to 5x130

if you need to go from 4x100 to 5x120, you can use the whole setup from E36 compact. it'll be great if someone can translate this :(

Hallo 5 Loch Fans,

Also was habe ich gemacht:

Hinten...

I can't think of 1 car that uses 5x130. Qimis, what the hell are you running? :D

Lots in 5x100 though, I'd do that.

I am. But if Jer is willing to do it, then 5x100 seems the way to go.

Funny I never thought of Porsche. I have a listing of many cars that does not include them.

Mystikal

93+ Jetta's and Golf's pop into mind (since we're on the Euro tip). If you wanna look at JDM, all FWD Celica's (meaning from 86-).

this is what scares me about the "adapter system" ....

thin material:

qimis
06-21-2004, 09:46 PM
yup ! that's the risk

BUT !!!

it depends on the bolt patterns, ie. from 4x100 to 4x108 wont be that bad.

I translate for you.......

I bought last year rims, which on my e30 fit not completely because her 5 holes had (8 1/2 and 10x17 pitch diameter 5x120). Thus I accepted the challenge, my cart with org. To convert shock struts on 5-Loch. Thus which I have made: In the back... the wheel hub of the e36 323ti fits. There the drive shaft of the e30 fits then again purely. The brake disk you take also from the 323ti, must however if one the e30 brake caliper used, on which original e30 diameter (240mm) is turned off. The internal dimension and the disalignment fit exactly. In front... wird's somewhat more with difficulty. There I from the M3 e30 a wheel bearing with hub took. The inside diameter is here too large. I have that by a case (turned on turning lathe) balanced. The dust plate behind it at the shock strut is also too small, that I threw away and likewise one turned. With federation, since the camp did not rest to no more against the federation the shock strut if one it tightened. A spreading effect on the inner ring of the wheel bearing arises as a result of the too large internal dimension. The M3 e30 nut/mother is also too largely, there I the e30er drauf turned. To the brake disk: The M3 e30 brake disk is from the disalignment also directly, at least adjusts itself with the wheel bearing and the hub. In addition, the diameter is too large here. Thus also on org. e30 diameter (260mm) turn off. In addition it comes that one must make the bremstraeger 1mm broad with the Flex, so that the M3 e30 brake disk fits between them which I turned off around 0,5mm on both sides in the strength (is far in the tolerance). Everything assemble and well! That brakes like a new 325i e30 brake and is BMW parts! To drive property to the change no mulmiges feeling had thereby. I have with the building seen that all this with one another to function can, if one white which one makes there. All different should rather leave of it the fingers! The whole has me approx.. 450 euro cost however has approximately now new wheel bearings and new brakes (in the accessory trade)
