Does anybody have a dead/defective E39 540 HFM all I need is the housing.

I need to put a custom element in it as I have software from AA for my turbo setup and it requires a 3.5" HFM.

If anybody knows a local garage that is throwing away the old one please let me know.

Thanks,
M

For trying here is a picture of the HFM.

It is made by bosh and I think it should not matter but as long as it is 3.5" dia should hopefully work.

I would be able to tell as I have a LM 1 wideband logging the a/f, tps, Hfm, map(boost)

Thanks,

I found out that I need the HFM from a 540 or 740 year 1997 to 1998 as from 1999+ the connector is square and will not fit.

Thanks

when you take the sensor out what kind of hole is it, the MB HFM I have has a rectangle shape sensor but the hole is round
