Has anyone ever done it? I know there aren't any bolt-on kits for it, but what parts would be neccessary? how much money am I looking at?

What are the cons? other than the weight... could my car still be winter driven?

Did you use air struts up front?

You can use bags in the winter.

Air ride in an E30 is...well...rediculous. Why don't you do that to a 740i? At least a 7er has some pimp mobile status!

Homo my ass. Airbags are kick ass. Once I sell this silly e30 (when im done college) I'm building a blazer thats gonna be bagged and fast.

As long as the car itself doesnt look stupid retarted who cares if he wants to lay it in the weeds at the push of a button.

bags are gay unless you have a truck.........

Airbags are pimp. If i lower it already having 17 inch rims it's gonna be one uncomfortable ride, at lest with air bags you get a cadillac ride and showroom style when parked, i don't track my e30 so what difference does it make?

You don't have to have a cadillac ride with bags (IMO a cadillac ride is NOT a good thing). If you do the job right, you can use air bag springs, and some stiff adjustable shocks with (the key) individual valves you will get a sporty ride.

It is all in the setup. An air bag is bascially a spring with an adjustable spring rate. It doesn't mean the ride will suck... although most trucks run bags with no shocks without individual valves, and that is where the floaty ride comes from.

What I would use is those air bags that have the hole in the center for a strut, then install koni adjustables.

It's easy to say something sucks.. but do you know why and how to make it work?

Wow.. a primer e30.. splended. Thanks for the cunning intellect.
