your best bet is sealed box with two 12" subs fireing right through the ski boot opening!

PM me and for about $1100 i'll have that thing hitting atleast 145 db *angel*

Depends if you're using a dirty amp and a dirty sub.
If you got the bucks you can go for the outlaw amps *cough*drag queen *cough* .........it produced more than 10000 watts for 2 seconds. That will definitely hit waaaAAAaaay over 145 db. If I were you, I'll go for zapcos which probably cost you more than 1000 bucks just for the amp and paired with 2 audiobahn subs (the big fat surround ones)Bingo, you got a nice and loud just only for subs. Then go for MB Quarts or Focal 3 way component sets up front (probably a 1000 bucks item) and it'll sound sweet then you'll have to think if you need any rear fills but usually people just go for the front and the subs!
Those setup will finish off the basic and if you want more it'll be major butchering and fiber glassing and probably you won't gto that far......*smoke*

Memphis Car Audio has some really killer digital class amps! I could possibly get a deal if there are a few people interested. The one digital class amp that I want to get is 1100 watts in mono for $750! What a deal! Over 1100 watts for under $1000! Oh go check out the Memphis Belle amp! It is sick!

Subs fire better unobstructed... To fire properly, you need the top of the cone to have a certain volume of space. For example... my 2 12w3's need 12 cubic feet of space to fire into, while only 1.75 cubs in a sealed box. Fire into the back of the seats and it wont be so good... THey would getr a better massage from the subs firing backwards into the trunk that right at the back seats.

But with fold down seats, it looks much cooler from the inside of the cabin.

For sure it's gonna power the whole car's audio system but that thing cost over a thousand. Plus you might think of customize install that amp since it was so nice looking....*smoke*

Sealed????? Why?? My bro had both sealed and with ports.
Box with ports had much more bass.

Foc Us, Gamite will have to sell his car to get those amps :)

I don't think he has to sell his car to get those amps, just that he have to save a really LONG time, I think one cost 3000 us when new........*angel*
It all depends what type of bass he wants, he might have to get the box for specific tuned frequency for ported.
