What do you think I should offer to a guy for 18" BBS RCs forged and powdercoated gunmetal with Dunlop FM-901 tires with 75% tread. Mind you the rims are used, but apparently in good condition. But the treadwear on those tires is 200!!! ahhh!

Thanks for the help

I have those tires as well, they suck on wet roads, zero traction, and very noisy, I don't know how much those rims are worth, but the tires are worth about $50-100 each at most

109 a corner US from tirerack
pretty inexpensive tires, but they will not last u long at all
take that into account
i say basically consider the deal as if there are no tires because u will need to buy new tires soon
i would suggest fuzions, or bridgestone re750
decent tires, with decent treadwear

But those rims are deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerty! u need to buy them karim!

yeah I paid only $600 for a set of 235/45/17, when you do buy those rims & tires, just do some crazy drifting or burnouts & toss those tires away, and do what Paul said about getting bridgestones

What should i offer the guy though for the rims alone?

i had BBS RC Motorsport Edition rims, they are a big diff in price between the normal RC's. Mine went for $1200-1300 each rim. you gottta be crazy to pay that price. i paid $3000 with rubber 4 years ago. I think the regular RC's go for $900 a rim (new).

Extreme Wheel and Tire said 740 brand new so I figure they are 350-400 now

get them. they are very good rims. they are one of the strongest rims. i had 35 series rubber and never bent them with my car lowered more than 4 inches.

Sounds fair.

BBS or bust!

Thanks Mystikal! Yea i thought 1500-1600$ is fair because the rims are used so they depreciated in value, and the tires are literally useless. If he wants more than that he's gotta be out of his mind.

Paul540/m3 got his Breytons with tires for 1/6 of the price brand new.
