Hey is that stuff safe to use on aluminum? Cuz I've got ugly yellow coating on my intake manifold that the previous owner put on, and it takes a lot of sanding to get off, so this seems like that stuff would be a lot easier.

your wheels should look nice though*th-up*

My wheels are aluminum as far as I know. So ya I would say its good.

Sorry to break it to you put the PO did not put the yellow coating of your intake manifold. That would be cosmoline. It was a spray BMW put in the engine bay before shipping them out to North America to protect the car from rust. When they arrived, not all dealers completely (or at all) washed it off.

Interesting...cuz it dosn't look like a professional job, cuz if you look under the intake manifold its not covered and you can see the drip marks from when it was put on...but either way, it looks like crap, and I want to get rid of it, but its a real pain to sand off.
