Just buy a bracket at any performance shop about $20 bucks...

Search turbo threads there should be lots about cold air intakes....

Autozone sometimes sells a plate that will fit.

Most people make heatshields or buy them, like these
Look at LukasBMW's site, heres a link to his heatshieldsLukasBMW (http://lukasbmw.com/heatshields.htm)

Does anyone have a specific link where I can buy one of those adapter plates? I've been looking high and low for one of those things...

Haha why? It's a piece of metal.

I got mine from E-Bay.

... just the adapter? Not the filter as well?

BMP makes a high quality adapter, but it is expensive, and they only sell it with their K&N filter as a kit. All the ebay ones are stamped out metal, with no transitioning.

The BMP is cast aluminum, with a nice smooth transition.
