Hey guys i was just wondering if someone could give me some websites with tire pricing and reviews. I know of tire rack but thats about it. They do not carry toyo and that is the particular tire i was looking at. the toyo T1-S 245/35/19
I have a pair of bridgestone fuzion on backorder but they are taking far too long to get here, i've been waiting over a month and they are predicting at least another 2 weeks.
Any help would be appreciated

Also does anyone have these tires, or have you heard anything good or bad about these tires?

The T1-S' are excellent tires, akin to the S-03. Extremely sticky, and the treadwear reflects that. I wouldn't see getting more than 15-20k out of a set. I've personally never tried them, but those who have seem to really like them.

the tread wear on the toyo's is about 280
and the fuzions is about 320 or 340(cant remember exactly)
but how much of a difference is that?
about 5km????

Check out 1010tires.com (http://www.1010tires.com/) and tiretrends.com (http://www.tiretrends.com/index.php3) . Both are Canadian companies. I haven't purchased from them (yet) but I haven't heard anything negative. You'll find tire reviews. And the prices seem pretty good, considering there are no duties and shipping is lower than from the States.

They say 280, but it honestly is worse than that. The S-03 is 220, and people seem to get the same out of the 2 tires.

My dad has S-03's and they are insane but zero treadwear haha

Oh yeah? My tires have a treadwear rating of 200. They're basically just melted chewed gum made round. :D

so u know what it feels like to have to replace tires every 10k haha
thats something i dont really wanna do but my options are slim in my particular size:rolleyes:

i run s03's and t1s and i really like them both....running both on different cars.....truthfully i think the s03's last pretty long and i auto-x with them.... of the 2 i would say potenza's.... but thats my biased opinion.....

05-26-2004, 06:03 AM
oh yeah but for rain/wet driving i would recommend t1s.....
