I remember when i bought my cavalier i was like cool no one has this car.. wouldnt it be great if i modded it.. once i got my first mod out i noticed EVERYONE got a cavalier! like 3 of the people that go where i hang out got them.. it was like instant now there EVERYWHERE!! ive really wanted a bmw for quite some time now, ask bryan hes known me the longest... anyways ive been realy close to buying one now, and now im noticing LIKE EVERYONE in my area has one.. its never the same one either! i see alot of kids in E46!! and really i cant say its thier parents car either.. whats going on? did the world just get richer without me?

i hate to cry about it but its true! did bmw just market mentaly to all kids and adults to get BMW's?

or maybe there just so good of cars =)
always when i want something people copy me =) except all you guys =)

people don't drive them in the winter that's all. in the winter u can't see five cars during the whole day. while in the summer u can see five behind each other.

i know where i work in the summer there are 5 or 6 E36's and in the winter time is only my car that is there (don't have a winter beater)

Me myself, i'll store it in the winter and drive my beater......plus economy is improving so ppl tend to buy nice cars nowadays...

Not only that, but since BMW now has leasing on their BMWs people would tend to lease it rather than buy the car....

Haha.. Edwin you gotta get outta Richmond Hill.. its full of all those chinese guys with rich daddy's who bought them E46's. I swear it makes me sick because some of them don't even know the true value of a BMW, they soup it up like its a civic or something. Anyways, try to go to Aurora or New Market.. all you will see is older cars, no BMW's :)

BMW did do record sales the last few years, that might have to do with it. Also i've noticed a lot more souped up E30's in the past 2 years but that could be because they are under the $10,000 mark now.

One strange thing is hords of women driving old muscle cars and convertibles.. gotta love it!

There is also the fact that BMW's last longer! There are many people on this site with old (85, 86, 87) cars, but how many Escorts, Mustangs, CIVICS, or Cavaliers of that year do you see!!!! Just go look at the local junk yard and see how many Fords, Chevys, and Hondas are there, and then try to find an E36 or E34!!!!

well acctully i was refering more to the newer end of BMW's.. but i guess all these things add up.
maybe thats why bmw is making like 8 new models =)

fil the reason there are so many mustangs and civics there are becuz they r driven by young fags who race every1 they see with a stock honda civic and then crash their cars! in other words....idiots dont drive bimmers and race em at every light

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Honda's cheapy recycled thin metal. Sure its lightweight, but if you want a strong chassis and a car that will last, BMW all the way!
