Is it possible to install E36 springs and shock absorbers into E30? A guy on ebay sells the same coilover kit for both E36 and E30. What do you think?

Rear wont fit for sure, unless it is e36 ti suspension.

really?? i was under impression that rear suspension on e30 and e36 is completelly different. 318ti shares the same suspension though.

Yes it is possible. I have complete front corners from e36 M3,and complete rear corners from M coupe. I also have front camber, caster & toe adjustable as well as rear toe & camber.

I think jon is talking about coilover sleeves which aren't real a coilover set, they need to be mated to regular suspension to make them work like real coilovers.

Jay's comments are simple. Don't buy non-E30 suspension components. Period.
