is it my eyes or does his hand fall down? Damn! i went 1/4 mile racing yesterday and there was a sick Hayabusha that kept running 7s and sounded like that! Couldnt help thinking something like that would happen! Now i know! I mean it has happened to me in my old Starion but that thing looks pure horror!
BTW i deed a 13.103s run and the car is standard but an induction kit! ( Just thought i ll show off a bit*wiggle* )

Mirror or part of the faring. Not hand.

OK, Im gonna say he broke his hand but didnt lose it. I think the piston shot up, smashed his hand and broke his clip on (handlebar).

I seriously doubt it was a piston. I know enough about bikes (working on mine) to say that the piston would not shoot out that side of the motor (even if it went through a DOHC 16v head -- yeah right!). What happened was a backfire of nitrous that collected in the airbox (see the NX sticker on the wheelie bar?). The panel that flew off is the ram air duct going from the front fairing to the gas tank (air box).

once a spark plug flew out of my bro's bike, it shaved thread on the cylinder head, but it didnt go far. Coil wire held it.
