Brake lines

Anyone have a pic of how the brake lines are routed on the rear end (84 318i if that matters).

I see that they go up the side of the car from the master cyl, across the top of the gas tank and then into a T splitter, but then they go back under the gas tank and come out again to the drums. I don't understand this??

Please help me, I want to get this car on the road

does the car have abs, or a proportioning valve. you might need to find this, my car has them running to the opposite side and coming back down the trailing arms to the disks. but disk or drum shouldn't matter the route generally the same way.
