I have a 5.0 mega pixel camera. When I try and post my pics, it says the file is to big. I try to resize them in Irfanview. I put it to 640x480 and it still says its to big. How can I fix this problem?

I don't know about Irfanview, but you can lower the quality of the pic in Photoshop when you save it. Lower dpi's and size will do the trick. And you won't see the quality difference when you'll post them here.

I dont have P shop. I just put a pic to 640x480 and the dpi's to 30 and it still did not work

What's the file size of your 640X480 pic with 30 dpi's?

right click on the file,
goto properties

edit it in paint,then save as...change it to a jpeg..they usually come out of the camera as a 24 layer bitmap

dude in ifranview its called dpi just lower to 72-120 and u should be fine for the size and try makin it at 640X480 --(100dpi) for comfort. viewin on forums.

2.17 MB?? That's the size before you resized it and lowered the dpi's.

What's the size AFTER you resize it?

you can resize, mod, etc and it's FREE
