My friend ordered an intake heatshield for his father's E36 from Lukas BMW but his father now wants to sell the car. It's brand new, never installed. If there's any interest, please PM me and I'll pass the info along. He'll let it go for CAD$130 so you basically save on the customs duties.

Plus shipping and customs or all that included in the US$80 (which is about CAD$108)??

Thanks for the info, I'll pass it along.

Ok, ok, I see it. It's made by Lukas BMW (lukasbmw.com). I can't find a pic of it on his site and I'll ask my buddy for a pic.

That's for the E30 shield which is US$75 shipped plus customs duties.

The E36 is US$100 shipped plus customs duties. His site still says the E36 is still in the works but it's already available.

You can email him to quote you a price for the E36 so you can double-check what I'm saying. BTW, I'm just relaying what my friend is telling me.

ok.. well please try to get pics. If the heat shield looks good, I'll buy it off your friend.

Thanks,

Bryan

This is the closest one I can find which I believe is for the OBDII. I say this because of the extra hole (or did I get that backwards, sorry not too familiar with E36s).

Can't get in touch with my buddy so this will have to do for now.

Hmmm, that looks kinda strange, are you sure it's for E36 and not E46? If it fits properly and it looks something like that I'll take it

Thanks, email me a pic when you get one

Thanks and very nice meeting you Jos. :)

I possibly picked the worst day of the week to meet you. It took me an hour to get home because a few cars spun out on the highway and crashed.

Anyways, hope to see you at some meets in the future.

Great guy to deal with, seller highly recommended ;)
